(June 29, 2023) – In an unprecedented move for Philippine television, ABS-CBN and GMA Network have inked a groundbreaking deal for the popular noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ to be broadcast on GTV.
Renowned for its fun-filled programming and beloved hosts, ‘It’s Showtime’ has become a staple of Philippine daytime TV since its inception on ABS-CBN. Despite the challenges faced by the network, the show has thrived and now stands poised for an exciting new chapter.
As part of the agreement, ‘It’s Showtime’ will continue to be produced by ABS-CBN but will have its timeslot on GTV, GMA’s free-to-air digital terrestrial television network. The move signifies a remarkable collaboration between two media giants usually viewed as competitors.
